Officially confirmed at D23 Expo! Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a “new, first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check-in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship.”
The starship’s name that guests will be staying in during their journey at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is the Halcyon and is part of the Chandrila Star Line.
You will board your journey in special buses that will dock with your starcruiser. You will then emerge into the atrium. You spend two days and two nights living onboard space the ship. Everything from the alien crew, views of space, cabins, etc. The experience will be completely immersive.
You will then be connected to Black Spire Outpost. At Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, both children and adults will have the opportunity to face off against a training remote while wielding a lightsaber like Luke Skywalker did as he was learning to use The Force.
There are secret areas of the ship that have meetings that might call you to help on a mission. You’ll meet characters from both the Resistance and the First Order.
There will be a restaurant onboard as well.

We all know that anything Star Wars for me is a “shut up and take my money” situation, but the most recent news has me starting a savings account for the new Star Wars Land. On top of that, Lucasfilm and The Walt Disney Company have announced the release date for Episode IX.
A Star Wars Themed Hotel Resort is under construction and we can’t wait for it to open.
Take all my money. Especially since they angling a fully immersive story-driven experience. Pack up the cosplay kids, we have a Star Wars mission to attend.
The resort would feature “Story-driven entertainment that unfolds over the course of your stay, including live character chance encounters, and the opportunity to watch or engage in … personalized secret missions, flight training, starship exploration, and lightsaber training.”
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens for business in 2019. I’ll be the first to purchase tickets!
