The Ultimate Guide to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Allergy Friendly ExperienceEverything you need to know about the allergy-friendly experience at the Walt Disney World Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. What to look for and have a great time at this fun Halloween event.

Being in the Magic Kingdom during Fall is indeed a magical experience. Seeing all the Mickey Pumpkin lanterns and the fall colors everywhere you look, puts you into the Halloween spirit. Which is good because the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is an event that is NOT to be missed. Visiting Walt Disney World doesn’t have to be stressful if you have someone in your group that has a food allergy. The Allergy-Friendly Experience during the Halloween party is well organized and fun. This is the ultimate guide to help you experience the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party if you have significant food allergies.

WDW takes great care in their restaurants and quick service locations to make sure you won’t get cross-contamination. The same happens on a night with lots of treats and food being handed out. We went to the Halloween party two nights last year because there was so much to see and do that we went back for another night. Having a member of the Mom’s Panel and a friend with food restrictions we wanted to make sure we learned everything we could about the Teal Halloween at the Magic Kingdom. The Ultimate Guide to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Allergy Friendly Experience

The party starts at 7 pm, but you can arrive for the MNSSHP three hours before it starts. You will get a wristband on entry to the park. DO NOT forget it or you will get booted from the park, and they check throughout the night. Enjoy the park until 7 pm, then head to the front of Main Street to pick up your Treat bag. They had all of the party guests going down a special backstage alley between The Chapeau and Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. This kept the flow of guests coming in away from the guests that are leaving. There will be cast members handing out treat bags at the front. This is where you will get your Teal bag.Teal Treat Bags for MNSSHPYou will also need to pick up a party schedule. This has all the show, parade, and fireworks times on it. It also has a map to locate treat locations around the park. They will be marked by the Mickey Pumpkins. You will walk through the line, and cast members will hand out candy and tokens. These tokens are for the teal bags. You will need to make your teal bag visible so that the cast member can get the tokens ready for you. The line moves fast, so hold your bag up so that the cast member sees it ahead of time. They can quickly drop them into your bag, and no one has to wait for them to fish them out of their pocket. Teal Tokens for Allergy Friendly Mickey's Halloween PartyEnjoy the park and discover all the exclusive things you can only see during this special ticketed event. Meet Jack Skellington and Sally; Meet all Seven Dwarfs and don’t forget the Sanderson Sisters singing with all the Disney Villians. There are only a couple of place in the park to pick up the Allergy-Friendly treats. Last year they were in Heritage House and the Town Square Theater, which worked out nicely if you wanted to hit the treat pick up on the way out of the park. You can also see Mickey Mouse in his Halloween tuxedo! You will surrender your teal tokens to the cast member, and they will help you make your candy selections. There will be a handy board that lists all of the ingredients for the allergy-friendly treats. There were gummy worms, gummy bears, jelly beans, Smarties, Ricemilk Chocolate Bars, and a non-food pumpkin character ornament kit. Allergy Options for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween PartyI like that they included a few different options and even a non-food item. I think more non-food items would be a big hit too for those looking to avoid sugar.
