The Little Mermaid LIVE is almost here and we have your behind the scenes look at how this wonderful live show is coming together. The Wonderful World of Disney Presents The Little Mermaid Live! airs on ABC Tuesday, November 5th, from 8 – 10 p.m. EST.
An amazing cast that includes Auli’i Cravalho, Queen Latifah and Shaggy will star in an upcoming live production. It’s a celebration in honor of the 30th anniversary and includes the movie playing in the background and the characters coming to life for the performances.
The amazing talent, Auli’i Cravalho swims onto the stage as Ariel after her breakout performance as Moana. But you can’t help but get excited to see Oscar®-nominated and GRAMMY®, Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award-winning R&B artist, actor, and producer Queen Latifah as Ursula. Take a look at how fierce she looks!
Renowned reggae musician, singer, DJ, actor, and GRAMMY-winning artist Shaggy will voice the beloved crustacean, Sebastian, in this musical reinterpretation. Following his performance as Chef Louis in the Hollywood Bowl production of The Little Mermaid, John Stamos will reprise his role as the eccentric French cook. Also, Graham Phillips, known for his work on The Good Wife, will return to his live theater roots in the role of Prince Eric.
